

Edith (Huttar) Gould entered eternal rest on October 11th, at Apple Rehab, Old Saybrook. She was born on Staten Island, N.Y. and lived there for over 80 years. She was married to Dorance H. Gould for over 31 years. He predeceased her. Edith was a secretary, mother, expert seamstress, homemaker and devoted servant of God. She was a member of El Bethel Assembly of God church and a valiant prayer warrior. She loved teaching people of all ages about Jesus, but was especially committed to the teaching of young children. She was a counselor with a Billy Graham Crusade and served in the Sermons from Science Pavilion at the 1964-65 Worlds Fair. She was an instructor with Child Evangelism Fellowship for over 30 years.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, Oct. 19th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Swan Funeral Home, 1224 Boston Post Road, Old Saybrook. Her funeral service will be held on Monday, Oct.20th at 11am. at Trinity Episcopal Church, 1734 Huntington Tpke, Trumbull, CT. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, Oct.21st at 1pm at Ocean View Cemetery, 3315 Amboy Road, Staten Island.
