Lynn Christina Goodspeed

Lynn was born on April 6, 1972, in New London, Connecticut, and grew up in East Lyme. She was a proud member of the East Lyme High School Class of 1991. Lynn dedicated her life to caring for others, working in end-of-life care, and was in the process of furthering her education at Middlesex Community College. She took great pride in her work and found true purpose in helping those in need.

Lynn was thoughtful, creative, and empathetic. A devoted mother, she loved baseball and rarely missed her children’s games. She was known for her compassion, strength, and selfless heart.

Lynn was born to the late David and Shirley (Graves) Goodspeed and was predeceased by her beloved son, Ellis Snyder. She is survived by her son, Casey Snyder of Waterford, Connecticut, and her brothers, Jim Goodspeed of Clinton, Connecticut and Gregory Goodspeed of Waterford, Connecticut.

Calling hours will be held at Swan Funeral Home, 1224 Boston Post Road, Old Saybrook, Connecticut, on Saturday, December 20, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a prayer service beginning at 4:00 p.m.
