Pamela Jane Jones

Pamela J. Jones, 72, of Old Saybrook passed away Aug. 24, 2015 at Yale-New Haven Hospital after a long illness. She was the widow of Alfred I. Jones Jr. Burial will be private in Riverside Cemetery, Old Saybrook. A memorial service will be held on Oct. 24 at 11 am at Grace Episcopal Church in Old Saybrook.

Pamela was born June 22, 1943 in Lynn, MA to Lloyd H. Taylor Sr. and Jennie (Spaulding) Taylor residing in Saugus, MA before settling in Old Saybrook.She graduated and attended Old Saybrook High School.She married Alfred and they made their home in Old Saybrook. She was a

devoted wife and mother who cherished time spent with family. She had a loving and gentle nature. She leaves and will be dearly missed by her brother, David Taylor of Arizona; her daughter, Michelle Briggs and her husband Thomas Briggs I of Old Saybrook; two sons, Timothy Jones and his wife Lisa of Old Saybrook and Kyle Jones and his wife Jaime of Clinton; two nephews; one niece; and seven grandchildren.The family would like to express their deep gratitude to Pamela’s friend Fern Tryon for her many acts of kindness and support during her illness.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her memory may be made to: PTEN Hamartoma Tumor Syndrome Foundation.
