Randolph G. Wilkinson

WILKINSON, Randolph G. Randolph G. Wilkinson, 54, of Chester, passed away October 30, 2010. He was born February 19, 1956 in Derby, CT to William and Madeline (Elder) Wilkinson of Wallingford. Randolph is survived by parents, wife of 23 years, Robin (Choisy) Wilkinson and children; Shaina Wilkinson of VT, Dustin Wilkinson and his fiancé Jessica Maturo, S. Windsor, CT and Miranda Wilkinson and her fiancé John Spyropoulos of Alden, NY. Randolph is also survived by grandchildren, Olivia Wilkinson, Everett Wilkinson, three step grandchildren, brothers, Bill Wilkinson of VT, Jeff Wilkinson and his wife Linda of NH and several nieces and nephews. Randy was a very patient, dedicated, and honest man. He learned to live his life to the fullest, while taking it "one day at a time". No matter what obstacles he faced during his life, he learned to overcome them. He was a loving father and husband, and to his friends and those that knew him best, he was a true inspiration, and in return that helped him to fulfill his life. Randy, Dad, and Grandpa will be extremely missed by all of his family and friends. Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. TODAY, Tuesday, (November 2, 2010) at the Swan Funeral Home, 1224 Boston Post Rd., Old Saybrook. Family and friends are invited to attend a brief memorial service on Wednesday at noon in the First Congregation Church of Essex, 6 Methodist Hill, Essex with reception to follow at 12:30.
