Robert Red Richard DuBord Sr.

Robert (Red) Richard DuBord Sr. age 73, passed away suddenly Monday June 27, 2011 at his home in Westbrook. Beloved husband of Jeannette (Griswold) DuBord. He was born in Meriden on August 29, 1937 to the late Charles and Amelia DuBord. Besides his wife of 49 years he is survived by his son Robert DuBord Jr. and his wife Dale, and their sons Nicholas and Ryan all of Old Saybrook, his daughter Linda Stevens and her husband Mark, and their children Samantha and Kyle of Clinton. A brother Donald DuBord and his wife Diane of Clinton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Red and his family moved to Westbrook in 1964. Red was an honest, hardworking man, who loved his family very much. He had many friends over the years, and was well known for his oppionated ways. Red loved working in his garage on projects and repairing things, he will be sadly missed.

Old Saybrook, Saturday July 2, from 10:30 to 12:30; graveside services will follow after at Riverside Cemetery in Old Saybrook.
