Roland W. "Bill" Goodhue, 86, husband of Audrey H. Goodhue of Old Saybrook, CT passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on December 12, 2015 in New Haven, CT. Bill was born in Providence, RI on March 13, 1929 to the late Edmund Q. and Irene L. Goodhue (DuPuis). Following graduation from Saybrook High School, Bill was a featured dancer at the Roxy Theater on Broadway. Mr. Goodhue was a long time teacher in the Old Saybrook school system. After which, he was a consultant for the State Department of Education. Bill held a Bachelor and Master's Degree from Southern Connecticut State College. He proudly served as an Air Force SSGT in Tokyo during the Korean War. He leaves behind 4 children and their spouses, 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grand child. A Celebration of his Life will be held on Tuesday, December 15 at 10:00 a.m. at Swan Funeral Home in Old Saybrook.
