

Rosemary (Powers) Naples, 80, of Old Saybrook passed away peacefully after a long illness at her home with her family by her side on Sunday, August 27, 2017. Born in Valhalla, NY on December 8, 1936, she was the daughter of the late William Powers and Eleanor Cullman. She lived in Old Saybrook for the past 55 years.
She was a true artist in her own right who captivated such beauty with wood carving and paintings. She loved all things outdoors; gardening, nature and being on the beach, as well as travelling to Ireland and Europe. Most of all she loved her family.
She was predeceased by her husband Arnold Naples and her son Andrew Naples. She is survived by her sister Beverly Germini and her husband Peter of Chester, as well as her children William Naples of CA, Ellie Napolitano of Old Saybrook, Thomas Naples and his wife Mary of Wallingford, and Edward Napolitano and his wife Karen of Jewett City, along with 10 grandchildren Billy, Johnny, Karleigh, Katie, Kara, Alaric, Shelby, Marlea, Roxi, Jaylen, and 3 great grandchildren Josie, Ryan, and Brooks, as well many nieces and nephews.
