I am just learning of this. I used to work with Scott at CSA group in East Hartford. He was a very kind individual and worked very hard with clients. My deepest condolences to his family.

To Donna, and Scott's sisters Donna and Holly,

I am so sad to hear of Scott’s passing. We met in junior high school and became lifelong friends. Our friendship was extended with my Mom, Dad and Pat becoming close friends. I will treasure our fun times…. school, backyard family picnics, the beach and of course, the Elks Club. 

To Scott’s family, we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Much love and peace during this difficult time.

I remember Scott from our early years at Batchelder School in Hartford. It may have been Cub Scouts after school or just playing around on the school yard. Those were good times. My condolences to the entire Gore family. May Scott Rest in Peace.  John Kelly (ex-Cumberland St)

Never easy to lose a younger sibling and so soon after we lost our mom.   Donna, Kevin and I are there for you whatever you need.  We’ll continue coming to Old Saybrook as often as we can to help in any way.  Much love ,

Scott in the early 60's and his 'racing career'.

When I think of my brother, Scott, my fondest memories were the simplicities of life in the 60's surrounded by good family, friends and parents  who made our quality of life as children  a wonderful experience (despite my physical challenges & surgeries).
Scott, the towhead blond-could be seen 
*'racing around' on his plastic red motorcycle;
*spending endless hours on the rocks crabbing in Westbrook; Building sand castles; Helping the Sansone family do fix-it jobs with their cottages.  
The mischievous -creative Scott- always built and created things when he was sent to his room for some infraction against his sisters. He constructed games out of cardboard boxes using marbles, played w/ leggos ad his cars - What punishment??

I recall he tried to 'plant a nickel in the dirt' to earn $ - Made perfect sense to him! 
 He & his friend Gordon were rescued from Salt Island when they misjudged the tide when Gordon's father handed his wallet to a stranger, and swam to retrieve them.

Scott as a Hero- When a was a young girl, returned home from school to change into play clothes. Scott was too young to speak but saw there was something wrong when I tried to  remove my slip over my head as it caught on my trachea insert, blocking my airway. My Mother was out of the room and didn't realize my struggle.  Had he not alerted her to 'come quickly' it could have been very serious! 
As an Adult - Scott was my main support, the only person who attended with me during a pivitol parole hearing in 2018 for the murderer of our father as I tried to  convey through a victim impact statement how important it was to keep the perpetrator in prison. He told my Mother that  'I was amazing'  which was my proudest moment with him as an adult.
As we grew into adulthood, we went our separate ways, as is typical.  I usually saw him on major holidays.  Isn't it 'prophetic and somewhat magic' that the sweetest memories of all began and ended on the CT  shoreline for him?
I shall miss him dearly!

Donna, Donna, Holly and family.  I was saddened to hear of Scott"s passing.  I knew him when the family lived in Hartford on Sprague St.  He was a very adventerous child.  Pat was always filling me in on his antics.  I last spoke with him when Pat was put into the home.  May her rest in peace and have already been reunited with Pat & Don.
