OLD TOWN—with great sadness we announce the passing Cindi L. Wickett on August 20, 2018 at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born May 16, 1958 on her mother’s 21st birthday, in Old Town a daughter of Harley and June (Thibodeau) Costain.
Cindi graduated from Old Town High School, class of 1978. She stared working at Ansewn Shoe Shops for 8 years. In 1985 gave birth to her son Michael James and became a stay at home mom, it was a during this time she started taking care of Kaylee and Nick. She never knew at that time how important a part of her life Kaylee would become. She went back to work and was employed at Canoe City Video and Appliance for 18 years and enjoyed interacting with her customers. Cindi absolutely enjoyed raising her granddaughters Kyra and Star and would move the earth for them. She became active in all their activities and volunteered whenever possible. Michael James married Kati and she became a huge part of the family and Cindi enjoyed spending time with her. Without Kati’s love and dedication, Cindi would not have been able to remain at home throughout her illness.
The family wishes to thank everyone for the all the support provided to them: rides for the girls to school, games, appointments, whatever was needed. Ralph Marden and Patty Forbes for building the ramp, and to Darlings who made sure she did not miss or go without during her time of need.
