Edie grew up in Milford and attended local schools. She spent much of her working life as a manager with the former “Doug’s Shop ‘n Save”, currently Hannaford Supermarkets. Though Edie spent a little time living in other states, like California, Virginia and Hawaii, she always felt most at home in her Milford, Maine community. She spent many years volunteering for the Orono/Old Town YMCA, spending a lot of that time with the children in the daycare. Edie was also a member of the Red Hat Society and a member of Star in the East #60, Order of the Eastern Star. Edie also attended the Milford Congregational Church for many years.
Edie always enjoyed a good time. She was a loving mother and a hard-worker, but she also liked to talk and dance. Edie always enjoyed taking a long drive in the countryside for fun.
Edie is survived by her children, Norma Bisulca and husband, Paul, Bill Doucette and wife, Karen, Jim Evans and wife, Betsy; grandchildren, Stephanie Watson, Sarah Kulis, Paul Bisulca, Laura Bisulca, Tanner Evans, and Saige Evans; great grandchildren, Joey Bisulca, Makayla Bisulca, Martina Bisulca, Austin Ogrin and John David Levitan; as well as two great great grandchildren.
