Ellen M. Dunn

MILFORD - Ellen M. Dunn, 64, wife of Gary Dunn, died peacefully Sept. 29, 2010, at her residence after a long illness. She was born Sept. 1, 1946, in Bangor, a daughter of Barbara Dyer. Ellen's life truly revolved around her children and grandchildren. Prior to her illness, she enjoyed fishing, four-wheeling and spending many summers at Maine Wilderness Campground at Pleasant Lake. She is survived by her husband, Gary; six daughters, Pamela Marcano of Bangor, Marisa Lane and her husband, Tony, of Glenburn, Cheryl Reynolds and her husband, Jay, of Bangor, Janice Martin and her husband, Chuck, of Stetson, Debra Anderson and her fiance, Brian Jensen, of Bangor, and Wendy Hill and her husband, Jim, of Carmel; 13 grandchildren, Anthony, Julian, Mandy, Justin, Josh, Nick, Rachel, Laura, Morgan, Joey, Jordan, Jessica and Kaitlyn; eight great-grandchildren; two stepdaughters, Kelly Jackson and her husband, Mark, of Milford, and Stacy Miles of Old Town; two stepgrandchildren, Kaylee and Nicholas; best friends, Barbara Renard and her husband, John, and Nancy Brown; and a special aunt, Mary Kelley. She was predeceased by a son, Jeffrey; and two grandsons, Jesse and Kyle. Friends may call 4-6 p.m. Monday at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town.
