

KENDUSKEAG - Leanna Breau, 35, died peacefully Oct. 14, 2011, at a Bangor hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born Jan. 1, 1976, in Bangor, a daughter of Marguerite (Hutchins) and Robert J. Breau. Leanna attended Hampden Academy and Old Town High School. She loved gardening and the outdoors, and going to the ocean. She was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan, and even named her dog Bruschi. She loved to watch movies with her children. She is survived by her mother, Marguerite "Maggie" Conary and her stepfather, Mike Conary, of Milford; two precious children, Nicole Ashley and Nathan Joseph; her fiance, Walt Sawyer of Kenduskeag; stepbrother, Jeff Conary of Milford; a very special aunt and uncle, Lorraine and her husband, Dennis Tate, and special cousin, Jessica Lynn, who were always there for Leanna; several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Robert Breau; paternal grandparents, Frank and Rhoda Breau; and maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Phyllis Hutchins. The family extends a warm, heartfelt thank you to all the doctors, nurses and support staff at CancerCare of Maine and a special thank you to Janice Pilotte for all the wonderful and compassionate care given. Private services will be held for the family at East Orrington Congregational Church with the Rev. Carl Schrieber, pastor, and the Rev. Robert T. Carlson, longtime family friend, officiating.
