Louise T. Carroll

GREENBUSH-Louise T. Carroll, 85, died peacefully surrounded by family at her residence May 19, 2021. She was born October 25, 1935 in Greenbush a daughter of Leslie I and Susan I. (McPheters) Smart.

Louise married the love of her life Eugene Carroll and they were married for 49 years before his death in 2001. Louise had a strong faith and belief in the Lord Jesus Christ. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Louise enjoyed sewing and making quilts, button projects, playing cards, making cookies for the grandchildren, spending time at camp at West Lake, and time with her sister, Amaryl, at Cold Stream. She enjoyed celebrating special holidays with her family.

She is survived by children Eugene Carroll Jr and wife Bernice, Susan Veazie and husband George, Peggy-Jo Sanborn, Christine Carroll, Christian Carroll and wife Tammy, Carrie Brackley and husband Neil, Eric Carroll, Caran Johndro and husband Richard; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband Eugene Edward Carroll Sr., her parents, children Winfield, Brodrick, Stephen, and son-in-law Rodney Sanborn;

A funeral service will be conducted 2PM Monday at the Birmingham Funeral Home 438 Main St Old Town, ME 04468 where friends may call from 1PM until time of service. Burial will follow at the Gould’s Ridge Cemetery, Passadumkeag.
