Stephen Lee Ward

1955-2012

PITTSTON- Stephen Lee Ward, 57, of East Pittston, Maine passed away into the arms of his beloved Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, on Dec. 26, 2012 at his brother's home in Old Town, Maine surrounded by his family and loved ones. He had a true heart for those in need and for the meek in spirit.

Stephen was born May 20, 1955, in Augusta, Maine, the son of Alfred and Gloria Ward. Stephen was employed with the Cives Steel division in Augusta, Maine. He was a key person in their drafting department. The men and women of Cives Steel treated Stephen as a family member and we are grateful for their care and compassion in helping Stephen. Stephen's passion was hunting and fishing with his father, brother and nephews. Stephen was a devoted father and found no greater joy then loving his daughter and being involved in her life.

Stephen was predeceased by his loving mother, Gloria Ward, and his brother Adam. He is survived by his father, Alfred Ward of Clinton, his beloved daughter Jennifer Ward of Augusta, his brother John Ward and his wife Nancy of Old Town, nephews Ryan, Joshua, David, Caleb and Jacob Ward and their respective families, several cousins, aunts and uncles, and many dear friends.

Our family wishes to thank the Hospice members who helped Stephen, particularly April. Thank you so much for helping him pass on with dignity and comfort.
