Albert Graham Freeman, 93, of Independence, MS went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. Mr. Freeman was born on October 21, 1929 in Palestine, MS. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce D. Freeman; father, Les Freeman; mother, Christine Graham Freeman; and son, Clark Freeman. He is survived by his son, Wayne Freeman (Joann); son, Greg Freeman (Marcia); daughter-in-law, Jo Freeman; daughter-in-law, Brenda Hatton; grandchildren: Stephanie Freeman (Jay), William Freeman (Crystal), Neil Freeman (Jessica), Jody Freeman (Jamie), Davis Freeman (Amy), Melanie Ragsdale (Keith), Hannah Jensen (Daryl), and Callie Langston; 17 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Mr. Freeman retired after many years from Trunkline Gas Company. He also worked as a dairy farmer and Tate Co. Supervisor for many years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. In his free time, he enjoyed collecting and working on old cars, trucks, tractors, etc. Mr. Freeman was a believer in Jesus Christ and a member of Independence United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at Independence UMC on Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 11 am until 12 noon with a memorial service to follow.
