Alfred Elwood Straussberger II, better known as “Buck”, 62, of Olive Branch, MS passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021. Buck was preceded in death by his parents, Al Straussberger and Betty Jo Allen. He is survived by his two sons, Josh Straussberger (Jennifer) and Tyler Straussberger (Aly); grandchildren: Jake, Jarrett, Olivia, Emily, and Madison; two brothers, Mike Straussberger (Pam) and Tim Allen; and sister, Suzie Straussberger. Buck was a union Local 4 sheet metal worker. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. He also enjoyed having a garden every year. He had a boat and enjoyed going out on the water. He like to play baseball and softball and was a part of several adult leagues over the years. He coached with the Olive Branch Park and Rec League when his son, Tyler, played as a child. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at Brantley Funeral Home on Tuesday March 30, 2021 from 12-2 pm with a funeral service to follow at 2:00. Interment will be at Chattanooga Memorial Park in Chattanooga, TN.
