

Chuck was known for his friendly, caring nature. He worked for 42 years at Baptist Memorial Hospitals in Plant Operations, where he made many lifelong friends. He enjoyed hobbies like collecting coins and stamps, and he loved being part of his neighborhood cooking team, "Killing Time." They participated in cook-offs, and Chuck was proud to be part of the team that won several times.
Chuck was also a dedicated member of St. Timothy's Episcopal Church, where he found peace and strength. He was a man of faith, love, and kindness.
Chuck was preceded in death by his wife, Monice Maxine Averill; his son, Ronald Kevin Averill; his parents, Charles and Dorothy Averill, and four siblings: Jon, Todd, Pam, and Kathy.
He leaves behind three children, Rick Wolfe (Debbie), John David Wolfe (Priscilla), Dorothy Howell (Stephen), and his brother, James Averill.
Chuck also leaves behind eight grandchildren: Ricky Wolfe, Renae London (Travis), Russell Wolfe (Cheryl), Chris Wolfe, Jessica Arakaki (Aaron), Michael Wolfe, Destiny Howell, Cadence Howell, and a host of great and great-great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be occur on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 3:00 PM at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church, 8245 Getwell Rd. Southaven, MS 38672.
