Charles Wesley Newman, 75, of Olive Branch, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2011. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 22, and funeral services will follow at 2 p.m., all at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch. Mr. Newman was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, and he retired from Amoco Foam Products. Charles is survived by his wife of 27 years, Mary E. Newman; his daughter, Tracy Glover of Gatesville, TX; his son, Greg Newman of Albuquerque, NM; two step-sons, Ricky Alsbrook of Byhalia and Steve Alsbrook of Castric, CA; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret Record of Henderson, TN and Barbara Newell of Asheville, NC; and his brother, Larry Newman of Olive Branch.
