Daniel V. "Danny" Treadway

Daniel V. “Danny” Treadway, 67, of Olive Branch, passed away peacefully September 24, 2011, at Baptist Hospital after a lengthy battle with cancer. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Monday, September 26, at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch, and funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 27, at Olive Branch Church of Christ, with interment to follow in Fountain Head Cemetery. A lifelong Olive Branch resident, Danny graduated from Olive Branch High School in 1962, and he worked for many years as a grocer. He was serving as a Deputy with the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Department at the time of his death. Danny was a member of Olive Branch Church of Christ and he was an avid Ole Miss Rebels Fan. He is survived by his son, Wes Treadway (Carmen); two daughters, Jennifer Francis (Jason) and Dana Tiner (James); seven grandchildren; three sisters, Mary E. Anglin, Sara Battle, and Eva Laurent; four brothers, Frank Treadway, Edgar Lee Treadway, Joey Treadway, and Dale Treadway; his loving companion, Janet Walker; and numerous nieces and nephews.
