David Wayne Gray, Sr. “Butch”, 65, passed away February 21, 2016 at his home with his family by his side. He was born August 7, 1950 in Sardis, MS. He was an Ole Miss Football fan, loved animals and was active with the Boy Scouts. He was preceded in death by his father, William David Gray , his mother and step-father , Mildred and Pat Allison and his sister Faye Goldsmith. He leaves behind to honor his memory, his wife of 41 years, Barbara Gray, daughters, Bari Gray and Brandi Montgomery, son, David Gray Jr., son-in-law, Jay Irons and sister Brenda (Bobby) Gitter. He will also be missed by his grandchildren; Gino Irons, Jordan Irons, Alexis Montgomery and Makayla Montgomery. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch, MS. A reception will follow services from 3-5:30 also at Brantley Funeral Home.
