Dennis Glenn Allison, 64, of Byhalia, MS went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 2, 2021. Mr. Allison was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Allison; mother, Evie Moore; brother, Larry Allison; and sister, Linda Callahan. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Patricia Allison; son, Billy Glenn Allison(Nancy); daughter, Stephanie Jones(Michael); daughter, Lynsay Johnson(Rick); son, Billy Brock(Samantha); son, Patrick Brock(London); 14 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers: David Allison, Danny Allison, and Nathan Allison; and sisters, Ruby Gardner and Betsy Allison. Mr. Allison was a proud United States Marine. After his military service, he worked for the United States Postal Service from where he retired after 40 plus years as a truck driver. He was a devout believer in Jesus Christ and served as the associate pastor for New Life Tabernacle in Byhalia. In his free time, he and his wife bred golden retrievers. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. His family and spending time with them was one of his life’s greatest joys. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at Brantley Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 5-7 pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 10:00 am, also at Brantley Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Lebanon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to New Life Tabernacle or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
