Cockram - EMMA SUE OWENS, born January 19, 1920, died March 4, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond P. Owens and son, Dannly L. Owens. She leaves behind one son, Richard P. Owens (Glenda) and one daughter, Betty O. Burton (Leon), both of Cockrum, MS; five grandchildren, Leon “Top” Burton II, Patrick Owens, Beverly “Sissy” Estes, Angie Owens, Heather Bobbitt, and Richard “Richie” Owens; and seven great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind one brother, George “Buddy” Taylor of Memphis, TN and two sisters, Ella “Rosie” Holliman of Counce, TN and Louise Duncan of Byhalia, MS. She was a member of Cockrum Untied Methodist Church.
