Ervin Jess Asher, Jr., 82, of Olive Branch, MS passed away on February 1, 2025. Jess was born on June 19, 1942 in Jeffersonville, IN. He served in the United States Navy as a Master of Arms. He retired after 21 years. In his free time, he enjoyed cooking, gardening, and wood working. He was also a huge NASCAR fan. Jess was preceded in death by his father, Ervin Jess Archer, Sr.; mother, Francis Asher; brother, Donnie Asher; and sister, Ruth White. He is survived by his son, Timothy Ray Asher; daughter, Tina Marie McWilliams; daughter, Tracy Lynn Asher; step-daughter, Cherish Danene Francis; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. A graveside service at West TN State Veterans Cemetery will be held at a later date.
