Frances Odell Moss

Frances O'Dell (Doyle) Moss, 91, resident of Olive Branch, MS, passed away Saturday, April 12,2025 at Desoto Rehab and Nursing Home in Southaven, MS. Frances was born to Columbus Frankland and Tinnie O'Dell (Ferrell) Doyle on August 13, 1932, in Hardeman County, TN.

Frances was a member of the East Shelby Church of Christ where she attended regularly with her husband Dewey Moss until she entered the nursing home. She was loved by all who knew her there and called her friend. She will be missed by many but will be remembered by her outspoken personality and generosity. Frances was a wife, homemaker mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother and friend. She will be missed by many and remembered for her outspoken personality.

Frances was preceded in death by both of her parents, Frank and Tinnie Doyle; her siblings: Katherine Brown, Perry Doyle, Lucy Bone, and her Grandson, Jeremy Ray Moss.

She is survived by her children, Shearon Gail (Michael) DeFerraro, Ricky Donald (Ellen) Moss and Michael Wayne Moss; her grandchildren, Sherry Denise (Gary) Smith, Jennifer Lynn (Adam) Leonard, and Jason Ray Dunn; her great-grandchildren, Tyler Scott (Shelby) McGaughey, Nicholos Ray McGaughey, Mathew Thomas (Brooke) McGaughey, Justin Leonard, Brianna Gail Dunn, Aidan Ray Dunn, Ellie Smith and one great-great granddaughter, Everleigh McGaughey.

A funeral service will occur on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 11:00 AM with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, MS 38654. Burial will follow at Autumn Woods Cemetery.
