Gerald H. Davis, 71, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 surrounded by his family in Hernando, MS. He was born on June 19, 1949 to the Late Robert H. and Sara Lou Davis in Memphis, TN. Gerald was a dedicated worker at Jordan Windows & Doors and retired after 44 years. When he was not working, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding four wheelers, and going mudding. Gerald was a simple and kind man that loved helping people. On any given day, you could find him sitting under the shade tree or enjoying his man cave. Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, Robert H. and Sara Lou Davis; a sister, Barbara Odum, and his son in law, Billy Hopper. He is survived by the Mother of his daughter, Angie Leppert; his daughter, Angela Dawn Hopper and a stepson, Steven Anglin (Ashley). Gerald also leaves behind three grandchildren, Nathan Andrew Hopper, Christopher Allen Hopper, and William Corey Hopper. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at 2:00 pm with visitation beginning at 12:00 pm at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, MS 38654. Burial will follow at Cockrum United Methodist Church Cemetery.
