Imogene "Jean Jean" Smith

Imogene “Jean Jean” Smith, 93, of Como, MS went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 15, 2022. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie “Nat” Smith; parents, David and Eunice Clanton; sisters, Mable May and Helen Holliman; and brothers, Wilbourn Clanton and Floyd Clanton. She is survived by her daughter, Rita Riley (David); daughter, Lonnie Woolever (Dave); daughter, Linda Saino; son, Danny Smith (Cathy); 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. Mrs. Smith was a believer in Jesus Christ and member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Batesville. She worked for 10 plus years as a server for the Sandman Restaurant in Senatobia, MS. In her free time she enjoyed cooking, sewing, and gardening. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at Brantley Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 from 5-7 pm. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 20, 2022, also at Brantley Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Coldwater.
