James Joseph Fox Sr.

James J. “Jimmy” Fox, Sr. 66, of Olive Branch, passed away August 9, 2011 at his home. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, August 10, at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, August 12, at the Rotunda of West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Memphis, with Naval Honors. Raised in Point Pleasant, NJ, Jimmy resided in Clarksdale, MS for more than 20 years, moving to Olive Branch in 1989. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, and he retired from the wholesale car business. His hobby was to travel with his wife and spend time with his family, especially his 7 grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Glenda L. Fox; his daughter, Cindy Evans (Benjamin); two sons, Joe Fox (Susannah) and Michael Fox (Kelly); seven grandchildren, Ben Evans, Reid Evans, Carly Fox, Mary Sanders Fox, Drake Fox, Reagan Fox, and Abigail Fox; and three sisters, Donna Kingston, Lynda Fox, and Micki Morris.
