James Dee Huggins, 76, of Olive Branch, MS went to be with the Lord Saturday, January 16, 2021. Mr. Huggins was preceded in death by his parents, Dempsey Williford Huggins, Sr. and Carrie Delk Huggins; a brother, Dempsey Williford Huggins, Jr.; and his dog, Jackson. He is survived by his son, Wade Huggins(Merry) of Olive Branch, MS; daughter, Janet Spencer of Memphis, TN; son, Paul Huggins(Yeosaine) of Oregon; daughter, Laura Huggins of Memphis, TN; and grandchildren: Olivia Spencer, Ali Huggins, John Huggins, Madeline Spencer, and Henry Huggins, and one great granchild. Mr. Huggins served our country in the Air National Guard. He retired from FedEx after a career of over 20 years. He loved the Lord and enjoyed attending church. In his free time he enjoyed spending time with his family, listening to talk radio, hunting, fishing, old Hollywood movies, and history, especially Civil War history. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 5-7 pm at Memphis Funeral Home – Poplar Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 23, 2021 also at Memphis Funeral Home – Poplar Chapel. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Roll Tide.
