Janie Marie Thomas, 84, of Olive Branch, passed away May 1, 2013. Born on November 30, 1928, to the late Lucille and Charley Milliorn, she was also preceded in death by her sisters, Betty Bowlan Benton and Bessie Boswell; and her brother, Clyde Milliorn. Janie is survived by her daughter, Deborah Langston and Son-in-law, Rodney Morrow; nieces, Peggy Spivey and Bessie McKnatt; and nephews, Terry Bowlan and Charles Milliorn. A longtime member of Barton First Southern Methodist Church in Memphis, Janie recently attended Temple Baptist Church in Olive Branch. A gathering of family and friends will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 3, and funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 4, all at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch.
