John Albert Randle

Olive Branch - John Albert Randle, 77, of Olive Branch, passed away July 19, 2013. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch, and funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, at Longview Heights Baptist Church in Olive Branch. Interment will follow in Autumn Woods Cemetery. Born on August 11, 1935 in Blue Mountain, MS, John graduated high school in 1953 and attended Northeast Mississippi Junior College. A proud US Army Veteran of the Korean War, Mr. Randle was a Mason and member of Teamsters Local #667. A truck driver for more than 49 years, he retired from Roadway Express with 25 years of service. John was a longtime member of Longview Heights Baptist Church where he was a member of the Good News Sunday School Class. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Emma Louise Randle. Mr. Randle is survived by 3 sons, John E. Randle (Tammy), Eric L. Randle (Peggy), and Timothy H. Randle; 5 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
