John Lee Smith, 82, of Memphis, TN. passed away August 15, 2014. There will be a gathering of friends Monday, August 18, 2014, beginning at 1 p.m. until service at 2 p.m., all at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch, MS. John was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force after 2 years of service. He also retired form Kellogg’s in 1991 after many years of service. John was preceded in death by 6 of his brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Louise Smith; 3 children, Mike Smith (Maxine), Tim Smith (Kip) and Mark Smith (Anne); sister, Grace Gullett; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren who love and miss him very much.
