Kenneth Duane Beller, Jr., 76, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 1, 2023. He was born on December 29, 1946 in Portland, Oregon to the late Kenneth Duane Beller, Sr and Carol Sue Dennis. Ken is a United States Army Veteran and served his country honorably as a Specialist 5 in the Vietnam War where he was awarded the Purple Heart Medal. Ken also received Parachutist Badge, Combat Infantryman’s Badge, Vietnam Service Medal, National Defense Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and Army Commendation Medal. He went on to the Pacific Railroad where he retired as a foreman after 25 years. Ken was a faithful member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Beller, Sr., and Carol Sue Dennis; two brothers, Rocky Scalf and Charles Millard Lawrence. Ken leaves behind three brothers, Victor Beller, Gregory Withrow Tremaine, and Donald Withrow. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 12:30 pm with visitation beginning at 10:00 am to 12:30 pm at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, MS 38654. Burial will follow at West Tennessee Veteran's Cemetery in Memphis, TN.
