Kenneth Wayne Fortune, age 59, of Olive Branch, Mississippi passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2023. He was born on July 22, 1963 to Bobby Wayne and Elizabeth Ann Fortune in Memphis, TN. Ken worked most of his life at the business his parents founded in 1968, Fortune Equipment Company. Here he excelled in restaurant equipment sales. Ken had a zest for life, loved his family and always had a positive attitude. He felt most at home in the great outdoors where he loved to camp, fish, boat and ride motorcycles. He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Edward Behles. Ken is survived by his father and mother, Bobby and Elizabeth Fortune; his sister, Angela Behles; two brothers, Anthony Fortune, and Christopher Fortune (Meredith); his loving companion, Michele Evans with whom he shared his life. He also leaves behind his aunt, Cathey Cluff (Skip), and five nieces: Elektra, Elizabeth, Olivia, Sydney, Julia, and four nephews: Cody, Robert, Thomas, and Jake. A memorial service will be held on April 23, 2023 at 11:00 am at The Glass Chapel at Mallard’s Croft, 2867 Hwy 309 Byhalia, MS 38611.
