Lee Wren

Cleatis “Lee” Wren passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at his home in Olive Branch, MS after a short illness. Lee was born on November 1, 1927 in Booneville, MS to Coy and Essie Wren. He leaves his wife of 53 years, Betty Jean Wren; his siblings: Billy Wren, Kathy Whitworth and Wayne Wren; his children: Shirley (Herman) George, Phil (Joan) Wren, Kenny (Gail) Watson, and Jimmy (Pam) Watson; his grandchildren: Shelley White, Lorrie Lambert, Randy George, Stephen Wren, Amy Wren, Hallie Kaelin, Larry Watson, Nicholas Watson, Braden Watson, Bryan Burroughs, Alex Burroughs, and Zach Burroughs; and many great and great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 12 siblings; his children, Robbie Neal Watson and Betty Clair Burroughs; and his grand-daughter, Cindy Hurt. He was a faithful member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Olive Branch, MS. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was affectionately known to all of them as “Paw Paw”. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church on Monday, February 13, 2023 from 10-11 am with a funeral service to begin at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
