

Leslie M. Alsup, 79, of Olive Branch, MS, passed away May 3, 2015. He was born June 18, 1935 in Big Sandy, TN to the late Burlie and Blanche Alsup. Mr. Alsup was a U.S. Army veteran. He worked for Kimberly Clark and retired after 41 years. He was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Olive Branch, MS. He was a dedicated servant of his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, a Gideon and enjoyed many hobbies, including; gardening, reading, vintage cars and carpentry.
He was preceded in death by his nephew, Jerry McBee and sister Jolyda Bush.
Leslie is survived by his wife of 46 years, Shirley Alsup, daughters Pam (Tim) Harris of Springfield, TN and Paige (Scott) Rollins of Olive Branch, MS, special nieces Marlene Moore of Nashville, TN and Paula Pike of Perryville, Missouri.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch. Visitation will also be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday, May 6, 2015 with funeral service to follow at 10 a.m. also at Brantley Funeral Home. Burial at Southwoods Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Gideon International or Teen Challenge of Memphis in Mr. Alsup’s name.
