Mary Lee Byers, born October 10, 1930, wife of John Robert Byers, Sr., for almost 60 years, passed away Sunday morning, April 13, 2014, to be with her Lord. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She leaves behind her children and grandchildren; son, John Robert Byers, Jr. (Marcy) and their children, Elizabeth and Rebecca Byers and Lauren Coles; son, James David Byers (Barbara); son, Tommy Lynn Byers (Sarah) and their children Andrea and Joshua Byers; and daughter, Rose Mary Higginbotham (Gary) and their daughter, Sabrina Higginbotham. She was a member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church since 1972. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 16, at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch from 5-7 p.m. with the service Thursday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
