Mary Katherine "Kacky" Treadway

Mary Katherine "Kacky" Treadway, Lewisburg, MS, 70, of Lewisburg, MS, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Treadway was born in Lewisburg and graduated from Hernando High School. She was a member of Lewisburg Methodist Church. Mrs. Treadway was retired from Lewisburg Primary School and was the owner of Lewisburg Grocery for 27 years. She loved cooking, gardening, and especially taking care of her grandchildren. Mrs. Treadway was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth Boggan Chamberlin and William Chamberlin and one sister, Beulah "Sissy" Young. She is survived by her husband, Edgar Lee Treadway, two sons, Kennie Richard Trainum (Pam Collins Trainum) and Jimmy Lee Treadway, one daughter, Tina Treadway Hill, two brothers, William "Bubba" Chamberlin (Betty) and Durwood Chamberlin (Brenda). She also leaves to cherish her memory, three nieces and three nephews, two granddaughters, Vivian "Kelsey" Lauderdale and Brittney Lee Hill, four grandsons, Travis Richard Trainum, Nathan Miller Hill, Dalton Collins Trainum, and William Leroy Lauderdale III, and her special care givers, Nichelle Conner Gaddy, Jimmy Conner (Crow), and Clifton Conner. The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 23, from 6-9 p.m. and the funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 24,at 2 p.m, all at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, MS 38654. Interment will follow in Boggan Cemetery.
