Merlin Thomas Victoriano, Jr., 63, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at Baptist DeSoto in Southaven, MS. Thomas was born to Merlin Thomas, Sr., and Gladys Victoriano in Marrero, LA on November 19, 1959. He was a recovering alcoholic for 33 years and really believed in his program and lived by it. Merlin loved hunting and fishing. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was known for his cooking. His greatest passion was his children, and he loved them more than they know. Merlin was preceded in death by his father, Merlin Thomas Victoriano, Sr. He leaves behind his mother, Gladys Greer; three children, Rachel Victoriano, Sara Victoriano, and William Victoriano; two brothers, Michael Martin (Shawna) and Nate Martin (Katrina). Merlin also leaves behind one grandson, Elijah Victoriano, and his favorite Aunt and Godmother, Billie Adams, and a host of aunts and uncles. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 2:00pm with visitation beginning at 12:00pm at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, MS 38654.
