Nancy graduated from Chester County High School in Henderson, TN, married and moved to Memphis in 1952.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Nancy but her passion was ensuring that others saw the light of Jesus through her. She attended Fairlawn Baptist Church where she first taught Sunday School. She served God in many capacities over the years focusing especially on Missions and after moving to Knoxville, TN, in 2005 became a member of First Baptist Concord. She visited the Great Wall of China on the Mission Field, led the Homebound Ministry and brought joy and laughter to many as Nanny Bell the clown.
She had an uncanny ability to find happiness in her daily activities, taking pride in her flowers and lawn. She excelled in bread making, she was an accomplished cook and her divinity at Christmas will be especially missed!
Nancy is survived by her daughters, Trish Thomas (Danny) Laura Mullally (Mike) four grandchildren Wes Keith (Ashley), Tara Duncan (Patrick) Will Mullally and Rachel Elizabeth Mullally. A sister, Vernelle Smith (David) and a brother, Don Brooks (Joan) many cousins, nieces, and nephews and eight great grandchildren and will be greatly missed by two special sister-in-
laws, Martha Massengill and Jamie Scott. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Warren Scott, her mother and father, Ellis and Texie Brooks and a host of friends who are ringing the bells of heaven upon her arrival.
Special thanks to her many friends and those who cared for her during her stay at Storypoint Assisted Living and Memory Care.
Visitation is planned at 10am on Friday September 30, 2022 with funeral services at 11am Brantley Funeral home in Olive Branch, MS.
