Peggy Sue Jones, 87, of Olive Branch, MS passed away on March 22, 2026. Peggy was born on June 9, 1938, in Walnut Ridge, AR to the late Jeff and Mae Lawson. She had a generous and caring spirit and was always ready to help those in need. In her younger years, she and her husband enjoyed spending their weekends fishing at Arkabutla Lake. In her later years, she retired from Carrier Corporations and would find her watching Price is Right, Let’s Make a Deal, or Days of Our Lives. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Jones; sister, Ginny Greenslate; sister, Lavonda Wiest; brother, Jay Lawson and brother, Richard Lawson. She is survived by her nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at Brantley Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 1-2 pm with a funeral service to begin at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery.
