Rachel Salmon Vaiden, 75, of Byhalia, MS went to be with the Lord peacefully at home on January 10, 2025. Mrs. Vaiden was born on February 2, 1949, in Memphis, TN to the late James Lee Salmon and Margaret Ruth Salmon. She was a believer in Jesus Christ and a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. In her free time, she enjoyed going on cruises and working in her garden. She loved children and worked in the mother’s day out for Christ Methodist in Memphis. Mrs. Vaiden was also known for her sense of fashion. She was always well dressed. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at Brantley Funeral Home on Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 12:30 until 2:00 with a funeral service to begin at 2:00. Burial will follow at Fountainhead Cemetery.
