Rhonda Lynn Chapman, age 58, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 25, 2025, surrounded by her family. Born on August 15, 1967, in Memphis, Tennessee, she was the daughter of Janice and Davis Wells.
Rhonda dedicated many years to her work in the deli department at Walmart, where she was known for her friendly smile and kind heart. Outside of work, her greatest joy came from spending time with her children and grandchildren, who brought endless love and happiness to her life. Rhonda was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Thomas. She is survived by her parents, Janice and Davis Wells of Olive Branch, MS; three children: William Wells (Lynley) of Horn Lake, MS, Christopher Turpin (Audrey) of Horn Lake, MS, and Anita Walker (JT) of Harrisburg, AR; grandchildren: Maddox, Jackson, Brayden, and Calvin; great-grandchildren, Shannon and Dan; and her brother, Mark Wells (Christa) of Walls, MS.
