2015, with his family by his side. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Sue Cox. He is survived by his daughter Debbie Cox Pennington (Doug), 2 grandsons Chris (Suzanne) and Michael (Susan), and 2 great grandchildren Houston and Emma Pennington. He retired from Campbell’s 66 and spent his retirement collecting antiques and traveling with his wife. He was a lifelong member and deacon of Chewalla Primitive Baptist Church and a lifelong resident of Olive Branch, MS. Robert’s contagious laughter, biblical values, and positive outlook on life will never be forgotten and will leave an eternal impression on those who knew and loved him.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Chewalla Primitive Baptist Church in Potts Camp, MS.
