Robert Gene "Bob" Coker

Robert “Bob” Gene Coker, 82, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 5, 2023 surrounded by his family. He was born on August 1, 1940 in Memphis, TN to the Late John Henry and Leda Love Coker. Bob retired from Memphis Fire Department after 30 years of service. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. Bob also had his own lawn service where he enjoyed cutting grass. He loved the Lord and was a member of Goodman Oaks Church of Christ. Bob leaves behind his loving wife of 18 years, Gwen May Coker and three children, Steve Coker, Terry Kerr (Elaine), and Brandon Kerr (Heather). He also leaves behind six grandchildren: Jacob Kerr, Amelia Kerr, Peyton Coker, Eva Kerr, Logan Coker, and Andrew Kerr. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at 2:00 pm with visitation beginning at 12:00 pm at Goodman Oaks Church of Christ, 1700 Goodman Rd. E, Southaven, MS 38671.
