Dr Santiago Pena Lavarias known as (Ricky) 81, of Philippines went to be with the Lord and joined his wife Lena Judith on October 30, 2015. Ricky is survived by Sons Mike Lavarias, Chris wife Cathie, Sandy wife Brigitte; Daughter Nancy Newman husband Frank; Son Laarni Lavarias; Sisters Rosario Paragas and Remedios Frias of Manila. Grandchildren Deborah, Frankie, Cole, Jacob, Johnnie, Katie, Nikki, Jericho and Brent. Retired US Naval Commander and Chief of Internal Medicine 30 years, Private Practice 20 years, Ret. MEPS Physician. He was an active parishioner at Queen of Peace Catholic Church and sang in the choir. Also member of Filipino-American Assoc. of Millington. Loved ones will be Celebrating his life at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, MS on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 with visitation 5pm to 7pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 12pm. Committal Services to follow at West Tennessee State Cemetery on Forrest Hill/Irene Rd, Memphis. TN.
