Sara Elizabeth Wells

Sara Elizabeth Wells, 86, began her journey to Heaven on Monday, June 4th 2018 from Hernando, MS. She passed peacefully in her sleep. She was a loving mother of six children, Grandmother of 8 and had 6 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Husband, John Wells, who the family referred to as “Big John”. She was also preceded in death by her son Gerry. Her surviving children, in order of eldest and spouses, Julie and Ron, Sherry, Debbie and Lamar, Little John and Tami, Joanna and Jeff, will miss her dearly and were able to spend Sara’s last days near her side. She also will be missed by many friends including residents and dedicated staff of Wesley Meadows where Sara lived for the last three years. The family wishes to thank the Wesley Meadows staff and SouthernCare Hospice staff for their love and care giving to Sara and her family. Visitation will be from 1pm to 2pm followed by the Funeral Service from 2 pm to 3 pm on Thursday June 7th at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum Rd, Olive Branch, MS Burial will immediately follow funeral services and will be at Autumn Woods Memorial Park 6240 Davidson Rd. In-lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
