Sheri Bennett

Olive Branch - SHERI MAE BENNETT, 48, died February 23, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on June 12, 1964 in San Diego, CA at Balboa Hospital, the daughter of George and Margaret (deceased) Bernhardt. Sheri spent her childhood days living in New Zealand and later came to the U.S.A. in 1988. She met her husband, Jimmy Bennett, at Dillard’s Department Store in 1989. They wed April 20, 1991. Most of her adult life she devoted herself to taking care of children. They had four children, Justin C. Bennett, Kylie R. Bennett, Braxton K. Bennett, and Lucas T. Bennett. She leaves behind three siblings, Donald Bernhardt, Rod Bernhardt, and Moana Prictor along with numerous nieces and nephews and family throughout New Zealand and parts of the U.S.A. Visitation 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, February 27. Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 28 at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum Street, Olive Branch, MS. Interment will be in Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh Lagrange, Memphis. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to your choice of any pancreatic research foundation.
