Sherrell Edward Ramey

Sherrell Edward Ramey, 67, of Blytheville, AR passed away on July 28, 2024. Mr. Ramey was born on March 1, 1957 in Olive Branch, MS to the late James and Mary Ramey. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Layla Sorrentino; and his sister, Sherry Raines. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Debbie Ramey; son, Chad Ramey (Brittany); daughter, Kristi Sorrentino (Nate); grandchildren: Tyler Ramey (Chelsea), Chase Ramey (Katie), Nieko Sorrentino (Kaylie), Kayla Sorrentino, Hunter Ramey, Makayla Ramey, Jacob Ramey, Ryan Ramey, Patience Sorrentino, and Keileigh Sorrentino; great-grandchildren: Lincoln Sorrentino, Makenna Ramey, Olli Sorrentino, Amberlee Ramey, and Kaysley Sorrentino; sister, Sandy Ramey; brother, Steve Ramey (Pam); brother, Randy Ramey; brother, Eddie Ramey; and brother-in-law, Howard Raines. Mr. Ramey was a very hard-working man all his life. He worked as a heavy equipment mechanic, but he could fix anything. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, watching old westerns, and cooking and grilling for his family. A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 5, 2024 at 3:00 pm with visitation beginning at 1:00pm at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, MS 38654. Burial will follow at Greenleaf Cemetery in Coldwater, MS.
