Sheryl Lee “Birdie” Cooper, 57, of Byhalia, MS passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021. Sheryl is survived by her father, John M. Cooper (Diane); mother, Barbara Landells McAdam (Dennis); son, Paul Gilbert Sanders (Mackenzie); daughter, Katie Toliver (Colt); brother, John Cooper III; brother, Sean McAdam; sister, Dana Hagemaster; sister, Jennifer Espitia; cousin, Sheri Floyd; grandchildren: Thomas Toliver, James Toliver, Cela Rose, Sutton Evelyn, and Jaxson Sanders; her great dane, Cash; her English sheepdog, Lincoln; her horse, Wyatt; and her donkey, Blossom. She worked for Cummins Mid-South as the government account manager for the last 17 years. In her free time, she enjoyed horses, going to rodeos, and being an event planner. She was a great hostess for parties and had such a good eye for decorating some call her the “décor queen”. She loved the ocean as well, especially La Jolla, CA. One of Sheryl’s greatest joys was being “Birdie” to her grandchildren. They were her pride and joy. She was a great friend and lover of people. She truly had a servant’s heart and always ready to help anyone in need. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at Brantley Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 from 1-2 pm with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm. Interment will be at Byhalia Cemetery.
