T. W. "Ned" Carter

T. W. “Ned” Carter, 76, of Barton, MS, retired Hardwood Floor contractor, passed away December 29, 2010 at home. He was a member of Barton First Baptist Church where he also served as a deacon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom Wallace Carter, Sr. and Eula L. Carter; and one sister, Annie Ruth Beverley. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Shirley A. Carter; sons, Billy Wayne Carter (Karen) of Bartlett, TN, Bobby Allen Carter (Beverly) of Barton, MS; sisters, Frances Lee Broadway of Southaven, MS, Mary Haynes (Herman) of Cordova, TN, Peggy Childers (Allen) of Southaven, MS; and four grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 1, 2011 at Barton First Baptist Church in Byhalia, MS. Interment will follow in the Barton First Baptist Church Cemetery.
